To remove the Arthur screen saver, delete the files and folders used by the Arthur screen saver. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
  2. In the Named box, type the following line, and then click Find Now:
    arthur.scr
  3. On the Edit menu, click Select All, and then press DELETE. If you are prompted to confirm the file deletion, click Yes.
  4. In the Named box, type the following line, and then click Find Now:

    arthur
  5. In the list of found files and folders, click the Windows\System\Arthur folder, and then press DELETE. If you are prompted to confirm the folder deletion, click Yes.
The Arthur folder contains the following files:

  • Arthurss.ini
  • Arthurss.mma
  • Arthurss.mmp
  • Arthurss.mms
The Arthurss.ini file is created the first time you start the Arthur screen saver. This file is not created if you do not start the screen saver.
