in ActiMates Arthur programs:
To use these command line switches, use the appropriate method for the
ActiMates Arthur program you want to use.
Switch Function
----------------------------------------------------------------------
-i Display information about sound card and MIDI configuration.
-d Bypass startup tests when you install or run the program.
-s Force Setup to run, even if the program is already installed.
-a Test the ActiMates PC Pack Transmitter when you start the
ActiMates Sampler program (Sampler.exe). Bypass startup tests
when you start any other ActiMates Arthur program.
-x Disable ActiMates PC Pack transmitter test.
-e Display all possible error messages for the program.
-? Display the list of available command line switches.
ActiMates Software Sampler
To use a command line switch with ActiMates Software Sampler, follow these steps:- Insert the ActiMates Software Sampler CD-ROM
into the CD-ROM drive.
Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent the program from starting automatically. - Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following line, and then press ENTER
<cdrom>:\sampler.exe <switch>where <cdrom> is the letter of your CD-ROM drive, and <switch> is the command line switch you want to use.
Arthur's Brainteasers
To use a command line switch with ActiMates Arthur's Brainteasers, follow these steps:- Insert the ActiMates Arthur CD-ROM into the CD- ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent the program from starting automatically.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following line, and then press ENTER
<cdrom>:\park.exe <switch>where <cdrom> is the letter of your CD-ROM drive, and <switch> is the command line switch you want to use.
Arthur's Math Carnival
To use a command line switch with ActiMates Arthur's Math Carnival, follow these steps:- Insert the ActiMates Arthur CD-ROM into the CD- ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent the program from starting automatically.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following line, and then press ENTER
