SYMPTOMS

The Discover Visio 5.0 Interactive computer-based training (CBT) program does not run properly on some non-U.S. English versions of Microsoft Windows.

RESOLUTION

Download and install the most up-to-date Discover Visio 5.0 Interactive patch. To download the patch, visit the Interactive Services Limited Web site at the following Web address:

http://www.isl.ie/ (http://www.isl.ie/)

The patch solves this problem on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, and Windows 98.

This problem is related to the decimal-symbol setting in the Control Panel. In some non-U.S. English versions of Windows, the decimal symbol is set as a comma (,); however, the Discover Visio 5.0 Interactive CBT recognizes the dot (.).
