Guest PC Remains in Full-screen Mode When You Shut Down the Guest PC's Operating System
SYMPTOMS
If you set the password security setting so that you must use a
password to exit from full-screen mode, the guest PC may not completely close
to the host PC's desktop when you shut down the guest PC's operating system.
Instead, the guest PC remains in full-screen mode, and you receive the following message:
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because, when you must use a password to exit from full-screen mode,
when you shut down the guest PC, the guest PC remains in full-screen mode to
help protect the host PC's operating system from unauthorized
use.
RESOLUTION
To exit the guest PC's operating system, follow these steps:
- Hold down the host key (typically, the right ALT key), and then press ENTER.
- In the Password box, type the password to exit full-screen mode.
STATUS
This
behavior is by design.
