Description of the keyboard shortcuts that are available in Groove and in Groove Workspace

This article describes the keyboard shortcuts that are available
in Groove 1.x and in Groove Workspace 2.x.

Groove contains keyboard shortcuts for some commands. These keyboard shortcuts vary by
context. However, they follow Microsoft standards where appropriate. For example, you can press CTRL+A
to use the Select all command or press CTRL+P to use the Print command. Examine your current menus or refer to Groove Help
for a full list of keyboard shortcuts that are available by tool. Additionally, Groove contains
the following keyboard shortcuts.

| Keyboard shortcut | Description |
| ALT+ENTER | Displays the properties for the selected object |
| F1 | Displays context-sensitive help |
| ALT+F1 | Opens or closes the overview pane |
| ALT+F2 | Opens or closes the chat pane |
| ALT+F4 | Closes the transceiver window |
| ALT+F5 | Opens the Go To menu and moves the focus to the top item of that menu |
| ALT+F6 | Switches to the next window in an application (between modeless secondary windows and their primary window) |
| ALT+F7 | Opens the My Contacts menu and moves the focus to the top item of that menu |
| ALT+F8 | Opens the My Spaces menu and moves the focus to the top item of that menu |
| ALT+F9 | Toggles the Navigate Together option |
| ALT+F12 | Locks or unlocks the Hold-to-Talk option |
| ALT+HOME | Moves to the home page |
| ALT+LEFT+ARROW | Moves backward |
| ALT+RIGHT+ARROW | Moves forward |
| CTRL+TAB | Moves to the next tab (in a tool or the next tool) inside a shared space |
| CTRL+SHIFT+TAB | Moves to the previous tab (in a tool or the next tool) inside a shared space |
