Description of the "Install for all users" option that is available when you install Groove Workspace 2.5i and earlier versions of Groove

This article describes the Install for all users option that is available when you install Groove Workspace 2.5i and earlier versions of Groove.

You click to select Install for all users when you install Groove Workspace 2.5i and earlier versions of Groove. When you do this, the shortcut to Groove is created for all users on the computer. After the installation is complete, all local users can start and use Groove.

By default, Groove Workspace 2.5j and later versions of Groove always install for all users.

Note Domain users on Microsoft Windows 2000-based computers may require additional permissions to the Groove directories to start and to use Groove.
