Groove may not prompt you to save your changes when you change a task in the Project Manager tool

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You change a task in the Project Manager tool. Then, you exit Groove Workspace, or you leave the space that contains the Project Manager tool. In this scenario, Groove may not prompt you to save your changes.

Note In this scenario, all other Groove tools prompt you to save your changes.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to the current version of Groove.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in Groove Workspace 2.1 and in early versions of Groove Workspace 2.5. This bug was corrected in Groove Workspace 2.5d.
