FIX: The Visual C++ 2008 Libraries Extension Feature Pack is available

This article describes the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Libraries Extension Feature Pack that is available.

This package installs the Visual C++ 2008 Feature Pack. This feature pack extends the Visual C++ Libraries that are included with Visual Studio 2008.

The Visual C++ 2008 MFC libraries have been extended to enable you to create applications that have features such as the following:

• A Microsoft Office Ribbon-style interface
• The appearance and behavior of 2007 Office, Office 2003, and Office XP
• Modern Visual Studio-style docking toolbars and panes
• Fully customizable toolbars and menus
• A rich set of advanced GUI controls
• Advanced multiple document interface (MDI) tabs and groups
