SP 54287: Data not written to CD/DVD even though Nero reports a successful burn

Symptom: When you burn a CD/DVD, Nero reports that it has successfully burned the selected data to the CD/DVD. However, when you try to access the data, you will find that the data was not written to the CD/DVD.
Possible Cause: The Nero “Simulate” feature was enabled.
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to disable the Nero “Simulate” feature.
Additional Information: The Nero “Simulate” feature allows that user to test the speed/burning process without actually writing data to the CD/DVD.
