Symptom: When the Explorer.exe process crashes, Windows normally restarts this process. However, if it does not get restarted, items on the Desktop such as the Taskbar or icons will be missing.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to enable an automatic restart of the Explorer.exe process if it crashes.
Additional Information: Explorer.exe is the Windows Program Manager or Windows Explorer. It manages the Windows Graphical Shell including the Start menu, taskbar, desktop, and File Manager.
