SP 52498: Firefox does not query for a “Feed Reader” when subscribing to an RSS feed

Symptom: When you subscribe to an RSS feed in Firefox, you are taken directly to a reader page. By default, Firefox should query the user as to which “Feed Reader” to use when subscribing to an RSS feed.
Resolution: This change will modify the Firefox settings to restore the default settings for subscribing to an RSS feed. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content including, but not limited to, blog entries, news headlines, and podcasts.
Additional Information: For this change to take effect, you must twice consecutively start and exit Firefox.
