SP 50865: Enable choices for the “Installation of desktop items” option in Internet Explorer

Symptom: The Enable, Disable, and Prompt choices for the “Installation of desktop items” option are grayed out in the “Custom level” security settings for the “Internet” zone under the “Security” tab in “Tools -> Internet Options”.
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to enable the choices for the “Installation of desktop items” option in the “Security Settings” dialog.
