SP 52586: Cannot save a webpage as an MHTML (.mht) file in Internet Explorer

Symptom: When you try save a webpage as an MHTML (.mht) file, an error message is displayed indicating that the page could not be saved. Also, when you try to start Outlook Express, an error message will be displayed indicating that Outlook Express could not be started.
Error Message 1: “This webpage could not be saved.”
Error Message 2: “Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to create the font cache object. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance.(0x8007000E,14007)”
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to enable web pages to be saved in MHTML (.mht) format. This change will also allow the startup of Outlook Express.
