SP 53087: Attachments that have .exe or .com extensions cannot be opened in Outlook

Symptom: When you attempt to open attachments that have the .exe or .com filename extension, Outlook 2007 will block access to the file and a warning message is displayed indicating that the file may be unsafe.
Warning Message: “Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: <filename>.exe.”
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the Outlook settings to allow attachments with the .exe or .com filename extension to be opened in Outlook.
