SP 52501: Disable the “Network DDE” service to minimize security risks

Symptom: When you start the Services applet in “Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools”, the “Startup Type” setting for the “Network DDE” service may be set to “Automatic” or “Manual”.
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to disable the “Network DDE” service in Windows.
Additional Information: The “Network DDE” service provides network transport and security for Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for programs running on the same computer or on different computers. This service may expose your computer to security risks and loss of control as an administrator. Unless you are using ClipBook remotely, you should disable this service.
