SP 52504: Enable the “Network Connections” service in Windows

Symptom: When you start the Services applet in “Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools”, the “Startup Type” setting for the “Network Connections” service will be set to “Disabled”.
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to enable “Manual” startup for the “Network Connections” service.
Additional Information: The “Network Connections” service manages objects in the Network and Dial-Up Connections folder, in which you can view both local area network and remote connections. It is very important for users who are on a network (LAN and Internet) to connect to Net.
