SP 54765: Remove the DesktopWeather program from the Startup folder to help improve system performance

Symptom: The DesktopWeather program produced by The Weather Channel Desktop provides one-click information access in your system tray. It can be used to obtain detailed local weather conditions and information on locations worldwide, including maps, current conditions, forecasts, and even live local traffic reports. This program is a non-essential system process. Removing it from startup can significantly increase your computer’s performance and reliability.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to remove the DesktopWeather entry from the Startup folder.
