SP 54802: Remove the ISSCH program from the Startup folder to help improve system performance

Symptom: The ISSCH program from Macrovision’s Installshield product is an update service relating to the InstallShield utility which keeps software up to date. This program is a non-essential system process. Removing it from startup can significantly increase your computer’s performance and reliability.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to remove the ISSCH entry from the Startup folder.
