SP 55011: Remove the DirectCD program from the Startup folder to help improve system performance
Symptom: The DirectCD program from Roxio is a part of Roxio Easy CD Creator. This packet writing software allows the user to write and delete data on CDs or DVDs as if they were a normal drive. This program is a non-essential system process. Removing it from startup can significantly increase your computer’s performance and reliability.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to remove the DirectCD entry from the Startup folder.
