SP 55078: Remove the MediaDetect program from the Startup folder to help improve system performance

Symptom: The MediaDetect program from Corel starts a process belonging to Corel Photo Album. This program is a non-essential system process. Removing it from startup can significantly increase your computer’s performance and reliability.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to remove the MediaDetect entry from the Startup folder.
