SP 55136: Remove the DLACTRLW program from the Startup folder to help improve system performance
Symptom: The DLACTRLW program from Sonic Solutions starts a process that allows you to drag and drop files directly to the CD-R or DVD-R drive on your computer. If you burn CDs and DVDs in a traditional way, such as starting up the CD-writer application and choosing files from there, then you can safely disable this program from running at startup. This program is a non-essential system process. Removing it from startup can significantly increase your computer’s performance and reliability.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to remove the DLACTRLW entry from the Startup folder.
