SP 55149: Remove the Daemon program from the Startup folder to help improve system performance
Symptom: The Daemon.exe program is a background application that is used to map an image file, such as .iso and so forth, to a virtual CD or DVD drive. This program is a non-essential system process. Removing it from startup can significantly increase your computer’s performance and reliability.
