SP 52094: An error occurs when trying to start a game from the Games Explorer

Symptom: When you open the Games Explorer and attempt to run a game by double-clicking on the icon or clicking the Play option in the Task pane, an error message is displayed. However, you may be able to run the game using the Start menu shortcut.
Error Message: “This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.”
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to restore functionality to the icons in the Games Explorer.
