SP 50112: Enchance Windows performance by disabling Error Reporting
Symptom: When an application crashes in Windows XP, you may receive a request to send an error report to Microsoft. These requests can be annoying for some users. As an example, when you browse a website, a message such as "Microsoft Internet Explorer encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenienceā is displayed and the Error Reporting dialog is then displayed requesting that information be sent to Microsoft. Disabling the Error Reporting can enhance performance on your computer.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to disable Error Reporting.
