SP 51030: Cannot use other image formats as a Desktop background

Symptom: When you try to set the Desktop background, you can only select the bitmap (.bmp) image format.
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to allow other image formats (.gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .dib, and .png) to be used as the Desktop background.
