SP 52461: Folders do not open when you double-click on them

Symptom: When you double-click on a folder in Windows Explorer, the Search Companion may start and the folder does not open. You may also receive an error message.
Error Message: “This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association on the Folder Options control panel.”
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to restore default values for Folder options.
