SP 53246: Cannot use the “Update” link in the Help and Support Center
Symptom: When you click on the “Update” link in the Help and Support Center, an “Undefined” message is displayed in the window and the Windows Update page does not open. You may also find that when you select “Control Panel => User Accounts => Change the way users log on or off” an error message will be displayed.
Error Message: “Automation server can’t create object.”
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the settings to enable the “Update” link. This change will also restore functionality to the “Change the way users log on or off” option in the User Accounts applet.
