SP 53436: Active Desktop components cannot be added

Symptom: When you try to add Active Desktop components, an error message is displayed.
Error Message: “This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.”
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to enable the adding of Active Desktop components.
