SP 53913: Error messages are displayed when you log on to your Windows account

Symptom: When you log on to your Windows account, an error message is displayed indicating that a Windows system file could not be found. When you click the “OK” button on the error message, a “Desktop” error message is then displayed.
Error Message 1: “Windows cannot find ‘C:\Windows\System32\<filename>’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.”
Error Message 2: “Could not load or run ‘C:\Windows\System32\<filename>’ specified in the registry. Make sure that the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.”
Resolution: Modify the system registry settings to remove references to the system file listed in the error messages.
Additional Information: A computer virus or worm may have infected your system. If you have an anti-virus program running, it may have removed the suspect file, but failed to remove the reference to the suspect file.
