SP 52987: The executable file that starts the Apple Mobile Device service could not be found

Symptom: When you try to start the Apple Mobile Device service, you will notice that the service does not start. An error message indicating that the Apple Mobile Device service cannot find the file specified may be displayed. When the Apple Mobile Device service cannot be started, iTunes will not be able to recognize or communicate with any Apple mobile devices.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the Apple Mobile Device service settings to restore the path to the executable file that starts the service.
