SP 53148: The iPod service cannot be started

Symptom: When you try to start the iPod service, you will notice that the service does not start. An error message indicating that the iPod service cannot find the file specified may be displayed. When the iPod service cannot be started, iTunes will not be able to recognize or communicate with any iPod connected to your computer.
Resolution: This change will examine the system registry and modify the iPod service settings to restore the path to the executable file that starts the service.
